July Listing Spotlight
Comparing increases or decreases in the median price of Old Town is a tricky proposition, as the entire market price range is encompassed throughout Old Town, and a few higher priced listings can completely skew the statistics. More telling, in my mind, is what types of homes are being listed, and there was a nice range of prices represented this month from a low price of $320K for a condo, all the way up to one of the highest priced listings to go under contract (in Old Town) for $1,750,000.

Overall there were 20 new listings to hit the market in May of 2021, which is actually more than we saw in 2020 (18 were listed in 2020). Similar to April, may provided a nice mix of inventory, specifically inventory in the lower to middle price ranges ($300-$700K).

April Listing Spotlight
The market picked up a bit in April with 20 homes hitting the market this past month. Even better was the fact that many of these homes fell within an “affordable” price range for the general buyer.
